NOCC Restorative Workshop

As women, we often struggle to feel powerful.  Coupling this societal normalcy with a virus that not only affects and targets immunocompromised individuals’ physical health but also their mental health, we need to bond together over positive terms.  Over our terms.  This workshop aims to empower women to accept that which we cannot change and find peace in this acceptance while also empowering women to instill self love into their daily lives and thought processes.  Self love will come in the form of touch, verbal prompts, and holistic sensory activation.  During this workshop, we will examine the connection between our body and mind.  Participants will have the opportunity to discuss with one another or simply sit back and take it all in.  By the end of our session, members will leave feeling strong, capable, and loved by the self and fellow women.
